it was actually kind of funny, the mail man and stuffed it up into my box and it was stuck up there, and so I tried reaching my hand up there to get it unstuck, but then my hand got stuck, and I ended up having to tear pieces of the packing off from inside the mail box to get both me and the cds free. It was silly. really.
But YAY! THanks sooooo much. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to all of them yet, but I listened to white ghost shivers right away! They are EXACTALLY a combination of squirrel nut zippers meets asylum street spankers. because they have a bit more dixie back water twang than SNZ.....but a really fun cocaine band! My only critique was that the guy who sings that very first song, well his voice doesn't really match up with the music and it's just really off putting. but KAZZOOOOO! and random vocalizations!!! YAYAY!
I have that beat man cd, but am super excited to have the monsters now too! I love getting new music (and little odds and ends) in the mail!
hmm..st. paddy's day? i'm not sure. gonna be home alone for almost a week. boy's going to austin for business. i'm thinking of having a sleep over. or maybe going to a friends house. either way..i don't have anything planned.

I have a couple of the songs, but for the most part I haven't heard most of these till now, and they're great!!! but the stuff I do have, is fun to hear them in a different context, you know?
