i've been meaning to update but too busy and tired. i'm getting used to a new schedule now that i've gone back to school.


last weekend was my birthday. we went out for dinner and then to a chill little bar in the market area with some friends. that was pretty fun.
my sister Alvina got me a book of Al Hirschfeld's line drawings. they kind of have a gonzo feeling in my opinion. the man knew everyone of influence or celebrity and drew caricatures and the like for the new yorker. what's really cool is that my sister chose the book because in his later works, Hirschfeld hid his daughter's name in all of his drawings..and that name is my name

my boyfriend took me out shopping yesterday. i got a sexy little flapper-like dress and some sweet ass tights as part of my b-day gift. then it was psytrance night at the cafe in china town. i'm still kinda hung over. maybe i shouldn't have had two redbulls with a bunch of vodka and OJ. i'm little.

yup so im enjoying this four day weekend. with the exception of having to work at 8 am tomorrow. but i'm coming home to a nice valentine's dinner.
