The season for love and peace!
Really it seems more like a dangerous war-zone to me!!
For Christmas Eve I am invited to a friends house. The invitation came on short notice. She has a 4 year old boy and so I went to Toys-R-Us to get a present. The first fight I already had to avoid on the parking lot!!!
A guy was driving the wrong way and tryed for the same gap that I was just getting into. He jumped out of the car to shout at me that this was his parking space!!! I was a head taller than he and can shout real loud... Had I shouted back he would probably backed off...
I am a very peaceful person and do not need to prove myself against choleric idiots. Also I saw a small boy in the car. Had he told me peacefully that he wanted to get in faster because he did not want to keep the kid staying in the car I would have pulled out and let him in. While the man acted up two more spaces became available, sorry one! The other one he blocked with his car.
Wen I was leaving again I saw somebody waiting for an open parking space. I had to make a short phone call and would then be off. I motioned with my phone pointed at it and went to the car. I needed to get a sentence out and then would drive. Before the number had dialed through the driver was out of his car and knocking at my roof shouting to me to get rolling and that I should use the phone on the road (which is an offense fined by 60 Euro and adding to an offense account that can get a driver's license withdrawn). Well, the mailbox answered the call and i interupted the call as I wanted the other side in person. I was tempted to take my time as not to give the idiot outside the idea that I stopped because of his offensive behavior but as I already said: I am a peaceful person. And the guy might have just tempted me to get out of the car and do some exercise! So I smiled, motioned with my hand for him to take a step back so that I could drive without the need of running over his feet...
Merry, merry Christmas!!! Isn't it wonderful???
I already know that during Christmas season the suicide rates soar but does anybody know if murder and GBH show a rise too???
