You learking will make me sad, but I think I understand. As for the talking/listening point, I have felt that for a long time, but it is often hard for me to find people who can listen to me as well as i listen to them. Over the years I have become a shoulder to cry on for many people, but unfortunatly those people like talking more than listening.

Well it's understandable but don't go a lurkin' - you asked a fascinating question which as you pointed out to me did get some kind of answer. (How many threads get to 14 pages, even if much of it was acrimony)?

I just think it would be a shame, that's all.

Vonnegut is a God though, (even though he often bugs the hell out of me), but his writing is so intelligent & humanistic I always forgive him.
