So my sister was in a car wreck last night at about 4 pm.
She was taken to the hospital on a gurney with a neck brace and taken to the emergency room.
i got off work and drove to the hospital with E and got there about 6.
We waited with her and tried to keep her sane and comfortable while my mother and her obnoxious froends flutted around and cackled like a bunch of hens at a knitting party and critizised everything the doctors and rns did.
It was probably about 10 before they finally got her sent back for a Ct scan. We didnt get the results for another 2 hours. She was layong on her bed in a hallway of the Er without pain meds for most of that time.
She has a fractured pelvis and was finally taken up to a room at 1 am on morphine and an empty stomach to wait for a surgeon to look at her. We left at 2:15 when the nurse came in and told us that the surgeon probably wouldnt be in til morning.
