I personally appluad your self improvement. IF your friends cant handle you changing for the better, Maybe you should choose your friends more carefully.

Small changes over time are the ones that last and accrue into real growth. I wish you all the support you deserve and hope that you soon see the people in your life that are perhaps too quietly cheering you on even now. Recognizing, desiring, and pursuing change is the most self-assured thing you can ever do...you might be farther along than you think.

Whew, I'm a man darlin' so no worries from me. I want to be friends with you purely for your gorgeous looks, stimulating conversation, and cheat codes. It's just a shame we're on different sides of the state because I'm stuck at this one part of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

That's so sad. And yet, you seem to be in a better space. It's very difficult to see now, but sometimes a change in your relationship is necessary for self-growth. And I think you hit on the central point. If people love you, they want you to grow and develop and progress toward a fulfilling life. If they can't accept changes, the relationship was only about *them*, and that's not a friendship worth salvaging.
I've been a little luckier; I've been forced to undergo personal changes and went through a horrible year, but my best friends are with me. Some casual friends aren't, but fuck 'em...

Well, apparently whenever I am around Krista in public, it looks like we're having sex, even though we're not. She takes "dirty" dancing to a whole new level You and I need to form the U.S. Olympic Video Game Team. Something tells me our practices would be very exciting.
I sympathize with you gorgeous, my semester is almost done and I can't wait to get away from school. A girl who I gave an F to came to me and asked what she could do to change her grade - I said "Build a time machine, go back to the beginning of the year and actually come to class, do the assignments, and then (gasp) - turn them in for credit!"
