Oh hello, lovelies :)
To all my USA loves, I hope you had an awesome (and SAFE!) 4th of July! I, myself had a lovely time! Spent the morning at the zoo (and got to see the seals, which are my most favorite animal EVER!), and took a dinner cruise in the evening :) It was extra nice as they anchored the boat in the river and we were able to catch some great fireworks and enjoy the gorgeous night. Definitely the way I want to spend every 4th from here on out <3
Anyway, what have I been up to lately?
Well, I've been working a lot with a couple really cool girls who have their own clothing design thing going, all from old dresses and such! Basically, they take old, ugly dresses (Think Deb's dress from Napoleon Dynamite!), and turn them into really fun, modern creations that don't suck :) No big sleeves allowed! I haven't an ounce of sewing talent in my body, so luckily I've just been modeling and doing hair/makeup for them. Once we have more work posted on Instagram and Etsy, I'd love for you to check out their work!
Reminder! August 20th is the release date of my debut set, "Naughts&Crosses", and I'm hella excited for you to see! Had a bit of a heartbreak over it this week. There's one photo from the set that @erockmpls and I really considered to be the "money" shot, but as of a few days ago, said photo was removed from the set...Our guess was it was a bit to explicit, and we knew from the get-go that the set could get rejected because of that shot...BUT, being the eternal optimist, I've decided I'll use the photo is a bit of incentive of sorts! How will you earn the release of it? ...I haven't decided yet. But when I do, you will know ;)
