I'm going through an "I hate SG" phase. At the risk of sounding whiny and holier-than-thou (ha ha hee hee), I find the ubiquitous fluffiness of this site aggravating after a certain point. It's a great forum for meeting intelligent, creative, kind people, and I like it for that. I was so happy to meet those of you that I have already, and will in the near future. I wish I could meet more of you. I don't feel like being on here much anymore, though, because it feels almost impossible to tap into anything beyond a candy coating. I'm sorry, I know I sound... well, whiny and holier-than-thou. Even the news groups devolve into petty poo-slinging, though, and I'm feeling at a loss for things to talk about. It's probably just a phase, and I'll be back on here gabbing about shoes and hair (see, I'm not above the fluff myself -- in fact, I am a perpetuator!) If I see another photo set, I'll scream, which is too bad because that's the foundation upon which this whole site is built.
