i honestly think that i've never seen a sunflower so up close! how beautiful. and i love the way chili peppers grow - almost like little shiny red flowers in a bush of dark, dark green leaves. nice pics. and i've never heard of phonograph, but i definitely enjoy wilco. do they have similar sounds? used to be you could judge whether or not you'd like a band by who they opened for, but not so much these days. didn't get to a single concert this summer.
and, sadly, no. i have not had an al fresco shower recently. merely wished i had. it's hard to be naked outside in indianapolis. my best friend (who lives in NC) and i have been talking about doing a fun photoshoot in an orchard sometime, but i don't know if we'll ever pull that together. might be hard to find an orchard sufficiently far from the public and nosy owners...
And yes, I found that except onlien and cut and paste. No way was I going to type all that out!! The whole book is like that. It's suprisingly easy to read though.
Beautiful flowers and stuff. Did you get a late start on the watermelons? Zinnias and sunflowers always remind me of my grandma too.
More and more Corphotos! Fewer and fewer chest colds!
New Jersey is a most unremarkable place. At least the New Jersey I know is. I save my warm & fuzzy memories for Maine even though I didn't live there until I was almost 18.
Lots of TV product *is* crap, but I don't think that those who slag on it in totality are being fair. It is just a medium, after all.
Ahh, a three-day weekend is at hand. Nola Bouldersquirrel (HolaGatita) and I will be at Seattle's Bumbershoot festival tomorrow. Friends of mine will be in town until Tuesday. I am...well.
oohh...
i want those lil chili peppers!
nice photos by the way...
yeah.. even the blurry artsy ones are kind of cool
Tell Gloria, my Eechy is fine...
just a little traumatized from the ol watering hole known as the toilet
Oh, wait...I know that tone. You're being sarcastic about TV, aren't you? Aren't you?! Scoff if you like, my pretty, but TV's warm, glowing warming glow soothes me in a way that human interaction or the seriously overrated reading never could. Does any book move me like THIS!
I tried to find the other opening segment, but no luck. Damn!
You're a smart girl, ain't ya? Knowing what a bumbershoot is and all...
so, what are you going to do with your day off?
more pictures??? the flowers and other assd plants look wonderful, amazing
i keep thining i should use this non-working time to go to the zoo or botanical garden or other cheap 'cultural' kid-friendly type thing
it can be so hard to break my normal routine
AbFab is a great way to start the day!
hope you are having a great three day weekend yourself...
we are off to do some shopping,
and in one week, we'll be in new york
Yah, new cameras are always fun. Yeah, I think I might just blow my savings and get a macbook, I am debating between the pro series too, the thought of all that computer power makes me a little giddy ;-)
Picassa is ok, it is tough for me to use though cuz I deal with raw images, which can be fairly large, google didn't design it for that I think, it is more mainstream.....thanks for the info on the other prog. It will be useful when I do get a Mac.
Enjoy your Monday, I have been working with all pics from this weekend and seriously about to kill myself, something about the hum of the computer that really zonks me out.
Martin Bisi is/was one of my favorite producers (Sonic Youth - Evol eg).
You got an SLR?
I'm thinking of getting one.
What did you get?
How much $?
