shellymc:
I think the entire cast of "Happiness" deserved an award for being
so courageous to even star in that movie!
that was a difficult film to watch..
"Are you wet?... is your pussy wet?"

i felt dirty after viewing it tongue
and the performances were kind of heartbreaking, but damn do i love
PSH!
have you watched "Punch drunk love" yet?
he makes a brief appearance in that too
fancyd:
DAMMIT I just typed an entirely witty response to you and the stupid fucking mousepad decided to wake up of it's own accord. MPS ! Anyways, I haven't seen that movie. I haven't returned a NETFLIX movie in almost 2 months, that is how busy crazy things are. I haven't even turned the TV in weeks, not since I watched the season finale of Hells Kitchen...maybe I should give you my ACCT, it was a prepaid gift thingy ma jigger deal. I wonder how life is in Genoa City.....I even have Tivo! That's kinda lame, or wait maybe it is a good thing to be too busy to watch tv...I dunno.

Weekend good so far, despite the exhaustion I am experiencing today.

Toodles ! ooo aaa
brandi77:
I still haven't seen Happiness.

I wish I had that song to listen to while I ate hummus for lunch today!!

Cute cats!
shellymc:
I love "Drugstore cowboy"!
i was so pissed Matt Dillon didnt get an oscar nomination for that movie,
i think its in the top five of his best performances.
And as much as i enjoyed "Punch drunk love", its not a film i highly recommend..
i just have strange taste in movies i guess (though my husband actually liked it)

We are thinking about getting netflix...
so many folks are telling us how awesome it is.
I'm not sure how many divorces its responsible for though wink
shellymc:
i haven't seen that wim wenders film..
but i've heard of it.
so you highly recommend?
yeah, i loved Diva... but like yourself, its been many years since ive seen
it.
but i thought it was an intense experience... it had a lot of different elements
thrown in there.
so...
did you watch Punch drunk love or Drugstore cowboy?
shellymc:
see...
now everyone and their mothers is telling me to get netflix!
and here you go telling me of flawed dvds! biggrin

killjoy...
shellymc:
tongue

i'm still considering it...
and i hope you feel better soon!
unless you are actually feeling fine and just wanted to take a day off from work..
in which case i retract my earlier statement
shellymc:
damn..
you beat me to it!
you really are sick...

my bad wink
shellymc:
well...
i wasn't quick enough this time!
but i'm blaming it on the phonecall i just got from my mom...
because its always easy to blame the mom isn't it?

anyway, gotta get ready for work.
Feel better!
sorry, that came across kind of bossy
alyk:
1. Happiness grosses me out.

2. I actually just cracked my heel, but that was just as traumatic.

3. Ew, no! I threw up in my mouth just thinking about it.
holagatita:
"Happiness" was so painful to watch! But I'm with you 100% on the performances! Awesome cast!

And awesome cats! I love that postcard!!!! I'm glad to know that the kitties are actually pampered! Will you be posting more later? pretty please. biggrin kiss

Is there anything better than a girl in a frilly dress pointing guns? Unless it's that pic Shelly posted of a nun with a gun from "Ms. 45". Go Mary Pickford!

I love that song you put on your video!!
afterbirth:
I gotta see that movie.

And my wishlist is there so you know what to buy for me!

And gee I hope you feel well enough to go to work tomorrow!
Say hi to the gang for me!
brandi77:
I really want to rub his hair glasses.
anaxarete:
happiness **shudder**, now i guess i'll have to see it too.
i'm glad to see the pic of mary pickford, your super8 movie really does recall that era
i got a macbook - top of the bottom of the line, if you know what i mean. its scrumptous.
sorry to hear you're not feeling well. i want to see you one of these days after work.....
surlymike:
That video is compelling, you know. smile

I enjoy the work of Tod Solondz, but, for some reason, I don't remember much of Happiness though I do seem to recall seeing it.

How are you these days, Ho-ster?
