yeah... i lived in manhattan for almost nine years
the first three or four years were quite painful because of the money
woes...
but for another four years i made out okay (of course thats because i
went back to work as a cigarette/massage girl at a strip club)
If i had not gone back to that industry though, its safe to say i would not
have been able to afford my dinky little alphabet city studio without a roommate.
