Ouch.

Wait-

There's bad stuff happening in Iraq?
No there isn't.
Not really.
This war has had the lowest percentage of "colateral damage" ever registered in a conflict of this size.
And you have to assume civilians will suffer a certain amount of backlash from our boys.
I mean, these children KNEW about the IED before it exploded!
Did they warn their liberators?
No.
But they stayed home from school to watch.
Now, I don't wanna say that marines should be shooting kids, but hey, these are not nice 4 year-olds!

We were told before we all agreed to this action of liberation years ago, that it wouldn't be easy, that it would get ugly and messy, that we would end up murdering thousands of innocent civilians, that we would be resented by the Iraqis and most of the rest of the muslim world with a burning hatred that would last for generations....

What?
We weren't?

Oh...

Alas, Ms. Ho, I was always willing to fess up to my shameless purloining of the words of King Homer. Admittedly, the adulation with which my words were greeted was compelling, but, in the end, I realised that any fame I had received was earned under false pretenses. I had become the very personification of those whom I'm condemned in times past.

Do you feel sorry for me yet? biggrin
surlymike:
Or you could be married to him:

But I think that the high-priced hooker route is the best one to take. I've found expensive call girls to be very good people!

surlymike:
I have to respect Don Ho. No, not in a "Robert Fisk's journalistic bravery in the face of corporate media culture" way (I was in the UK in spring 2003 and his accounts of the war were so far beyond the sycophantic tripe we were served in the US), but, in a "he appeared on the Brady Bunch" way.

Silly woman. I don't know *why* you'd want to spill butter on yourself, Perhaps it's a cry for attention? Well, maybe if it were Afterbirth, I'd think that...biggrin
