Yay! Today I got a ride to go to East Coast Camping, and I am officially registered! That is such a relief because I had SO much trouble finding a ride. Like... I lite!rally asked 7 people before I found someone who could definitely take me. I want to go so bad and it was looking impossible.
In other news, I went and got Thai food with my friend and co-worker Chris tonight. Even though I'm an oddball who would always prefer cooking and home to eating in restaurants, the food was delicious. I got pad thai (unoriginal choice, but I had a craving for it) , thai iced tea, and mango with sticky rice for dessert.
The Qfest, which is Philly's annual gay film festival, is going right now. I missed whatever was playing today and yesterday, but I'm pretty sure that one of the films I want to check out has a matinee this Saturday. There's a booklet with a description of the movies, and there's a few that really caught my eye.
I really love that I live in a city where there's such an active gay scene. I mean... Every year, we have not just Pride, but we also have the Transgender Health Conference, Equality Forum, Outfest, and Qfest. How many cities have all of that going on, in just one summer? I love Philly.

Hey pretty lady! Great to hear from you and hear that life is going well. When one of phillies awesome events is happening give me a heads up and I will really try hard to make it.
