All of the subway's on the green line have advertisements here in Boston. When I first moved here, EVERY one was covered in IPod stuff. SInce then they've had anorexic models for american eagle, Nestle Quick chocolate milk, a seafood restaurant, which had to be taken off because one of the fish made disparaging remarks about women.
I know how you feel. I deal with "just this" advertisements from Levi's which only makes me feel even poorer. I would loe ot have "just this" and dive into a pool or waves on the wear coast, but "just this" means oversized jeans and a broke ass. It makes me shake my head.
Believe it or not, there are more Dunkin Donuts in Boston than Philly. It's weird. Advertisement has gotten stale. The best it can do is make me laugh, but I can't think of a time a sign has ever made me buy anything, short of a concert advertisement.
As far as you two visiting, I say yes, yes, yes.
