Orcas Island is absolutely fucking gorgeous. It was pretty close to an odd fantasy land, sheltered from the rest of craptastic america. Meadows and farms lined the roads and the views were breathtaking. I wish I was more electronically enhanced so I could put some photos up....
The first night we camped next to Mountain Lake, and the second we stayed at this really cute hippie resort called Doe Bay. We stayed in a yurt and hung out naked in the hot tubs and saunas for most of the day. There was actually a point on the trip where I became bored and didn't know how to deal with it. You know that feeling when your so used to entertaining yourself in your own space but when a point comes in a vacation to do nothing, which is the sole purpose of it all, you feel aimless? It was wierd, and I felt a little embarrassed about it, but we filled the void with more naked time
So I may be riding my motorcycle into the HR to hang out with my love for the weekend, too bad it ain't that pretty out today.
