Getting back together with an ex is always a hard decision. I got back with an ex and we dated for a few more months and it was good but then I had to break it off because I didn't have time due to school. She then went back to one of her exes and basically called me a mistake.

Before that and now especially after that I'm not to hot about getting back with an ex. It seems like after a certain amount of time has passed your mind tends to block out the reasons why you broke up in the first place and you start to reminisce(I suck at spelling) about the good times.

ok, here's the deal. the ideal person is someone who makes you feel comfortable.

which is sometimes different and sometimes the same as the ideal fuck. we have both emotional and physical needs. so no problem in dating if you'll get some of your physical needs met. but if the person will not meet your physical needs, and is not stable as well, then I think it's a really dangerous call. It seems from your description of both guys that your time is best spent elsewhere (just say no), difficult as it is for any of us to draw those lines, essentially for ourselves and no one else.

its okay to love him sweetie, but that doesnt mean you should be together. the guy who's only sweet and vilnerable when he's drunk is a lie. people who can only express themselves when they are under the influence have a lot of emotional work to do on themselves, i speak from experience. i had an ex just like that. he's stil the same, hasnt matured a bit and probably never will. its a shame. i'm glad i'm not with him.
