Oh grr! Hope you're checking this: how do you feel about fantasy/sci fi/horror generally? There's an awards ceremony for Australian writers in this genre at Judith Wright Arts Centre this Saturday night - It's $27.50 but it's free drinks and food included as well as hobnobbing with writers and publishers, et al. I'll send you the link if you're keen.

Ah crap - Ziltoid is already going to the Game On Event on Friday night (check out his comment in SGAU Brisbane thread about it) so a dinner that night wouldn't work, I don't think. BUT maybe a dinner BEFORE the Game On thingy?
