Aw.
I saw you once.
I know that.
It was at the Gold Coast, at a club I don't want to say the name of in case it's wrong.
It was around BDO.
And you wee with the Brisbane SG crew.
I don't think we talked.
But I remember you.
I remember feeling ugly that night.
And being refused entry to the club because I guess I tripped on my way in and "looked drunk".
But I remember you.
I spoke to Rowena, and I may have met a few others.
Tell me if it isn't true.
I wish the best for you.
I'm sure you'll be back at some stage, SGs has a way of enticing you back to find out whats going on.
Good luck with all of your projects in the meantime though
Wishing you all the best!!
Man, I missed you at Kea's. It kills me I couldn't go, but I have big news: I had a job interview at Qld Writers Centre on Thurs. I needed to centre and be. I went home and cooked me up a cutlet of salmon, had an early night, then chucked a sickie the next day to prepare. It was awesome. They've emailed my references, so I'm in the final, finals.
Meanwhile, I've been lingering on Kea's facebook like a sad biatch, going... "owwww, that looked so fun." And lamenting on the fact that being tired last weekend and being busy this week have prevented me from seeing you! Gah!
But... you've just reminded me of SG hookup at yours!
i dreamt about you last night. it was random.
you were knocking on my front door in the middle of the night, and you called me on the phone to let you in, i agreed but fell back alsleep/ then my boyfriend and i were discreetly making love when you appeared in my room, and im like "oh shit, sorry i forgot about you" then there was this other girl (a random) in my house with you too and you guys were all giddy and excited. it was strange.
then you were gone and i was asleep again and id called a taxi to come pick me up, i went out the front and told the driver i just had to put shoes on, but i went back to sleep and when i woke the taxi was long gone.
then i woke up in real life and it was 3am and id realised i didnt have my phone in my room, for my alarm to wake me up for work. i freaked out and looked everywhere for it, i found it in the kitchen.
