I didn't get the printmaking job. They were looking for more of a foundations coordinator who know printmaking than a straight up printmaker. What pisses me off the most is that they didn't even interview me. I'm local and I could be available if another position were to open up or if a sabatical replacement was needed. Now they are going to spend a bunch of money to bring in three out of town candidates for interviews at some point this semester. Best case scenerio is that they hire someone who is really into printmaking, otherwise I could see the department getting rid of the studio.
