DropKick Murphys last night was awesome. I think the E.F. is the biggest venue Ive ever seen them in. The first time was at a regular Podunk bar outside of Boston. Did they get a new accordion player? If so good choice, totally hot! If not, my my how you have grown up into such a nice fine young man.
The opening band was Big D and the Kids Table, there lead singer was less than to be desired. They totally ripped apart a cover of The Specials Bitch. Shame its a good song too and they turned into a whore and fucked anyway possible.
The band could be pretty great, esp. since they have 3 wind instruments and the drummer was strong. The lead singer just ruined it all. He wanted to appear to be hyped up on Ritalin but he obviously just looked obnoxious, he didnt have a good voice. It was more like a teenage nagging bitching sound. My advice to the Kids Table, leave Big D and find a new lead singer.
