more like beating up bums and stomping on their pets, though you can do that in your current location and/or state of mind.

maybe. it's hard to tell. my nightly booze-lust has begun to seap into my days

i used to freak out about the fact that ani difranco was who she was at 19. and that leonard cohen had a country band in his early years, and i've already surpassed these ages.

but then, i think that's nonsense, and do currently. 27 is so young. 23 is a helluva lot younger.

the end of last year, a certain amount of sucess came out and bit my ass--writing for a local fashion magazine, a circulation of 10,000 in print, with 125,000 hits on the website per month. people ARE reading what i'm writing. it's amazing. and when i published my book, i was 22. that's been roughly a 5 year gap of relative suckiness/obscurity. now, i VIP and press access to most every fashion related event in town.

this is not to brag, but to point out how things happen suddenly.

you're gonna be alright.

and as for my winter, it's been the same old, same old. sucky breakup in january after brief relationship that didn't really work from day one, followed by a dramatic uptick in positive circumstance in february.

the usual.
