coal mine? I dindt know there were many if any of those anymore.

I WOULD put my pic on my profile but its the wrong size it says and I cant fix it. so I have to take a different one I guess.

Alright, alright, slow down now. The rest of us are starting to feel like losers. I am banging on a feature right now, based on my last short, and it is kicking my ass up and down the block. But it is coming out well, overall. We have a bunch of people who saw my last short and wanted to see what we did with a feature length of the same idea. So that is priority one.

And if, by chance, you dig an extra million out of your couch when cleaning up, remember the "little people" smile

I got your e-mail. Sounds good, looks good. Pretty impressive. I haven't had a chance to really dig in yet. Work's crazy. I hope frontman was more productive than me. wink
fentopal:
Jeebus, you have a lot on your plate. I'm the kind of guy that has to get one thing out of the way before I can work on another.

And my senior photo of Laura Palmer is actually about 24x17, complete with a frame similar to the one her parents used on 'Twin Peaks' ... i am so lame.
unique3:
yeah I got your email thanks! I'll put it up as soon as I get it in my email. thanks again, you're a doll! biggrin
frontman:
hey man! you write an OUTLINE? holy cow thats intense..
i just let everything spill out of my brain and hope it all works out. of course, i havent finished anything i've written, but thats because im torn between writing music and scripts..oh and playing video games. and reading. and movies. and girls. and..

as for sgNC - i had the same problem with vancouver until some local said 'hey you guys all SUCK - i cant believe you havent supported this guy yet' and BANG i had about 5 responses and met some folks. so perhaps you just need someone to get off their ass and prod everyone into waking up.

Well, I am far from an expert, but the Sony I got is really nice. Small and takes nice pictures. It cost me $400 (waitin' on a $50 rebate). So I would recommend taking a look at those. But nothing beats going into Best Buy and playing with all of them. That's how I came to my decision smile

Regarding your random thought: I am just the opposite sometimes, I feel if I get too many comments, I need to update, get something fresh in there. But after saying that, I am sitting on 28 (!!!) comments right now and I don't have anything to update about interesting right now. So I am waiting 'till tomorrow...and secretly curious how high my comment count will go!!!

Man, you have a million things going on over there! When do you have time to sleep???!?!?!?

Oh, and isn't 24 great? Me and hopesfall are obsessed with it!!!!!!! (we IM'd for like 45 minutes once only talking about that show!)

later!

Hey,

I see all is well. Looks like you're going to be pretty busy as well. How was the auto show? I would have definitely attended had I not been out of town.
tony_burrito:
I was in total agreement with you about the journal thing until I scrolled down and saw you had 8 comments........wait, I just added to your total, 9 comments. I think the most I've had is 3. smile

I'm finding all of the people on SG who are interested in making films fascinating. I've always been interested in making a film, but never had an outlet, so therefore never did anything serious. Who knows, maybe I will be befriended by some of you and change careers. smile

Best of Luck!!!!
mario:
Dude, my aol browsers completely messed up. I just posted in your buddies journal and while trying to edit my profile I lost my friends list. I give up!!! mad

Well, at least you had fun at the auto show. Sounds like I missed quite a bit. The VW must be quite a ride. It seems to blow the whole small Beetle perception right out of the water.
must_stache:
Hey Cineman!

Thanks for the message, it's nice to have people take a secon to say "hello" and all that.
I'll be in La from mid-feb to the end of April, so whatever happens with my auditions I'll miss most of the NY winter anyway.
Sounds like you've got a lot going on, which is exactly what I'm learning you have to do in our biz.
GOod luck with your projects and feel free to give me a shout back anytime!
