I agree that Hellraisers is a wee bit over the top (sorry, Faux!), and though I still like The Hollywood Hooligans (sort of Clockwork Orangeish, and the British ring to it might be good - chicks dig the English, those fops), I'm willing to concede that just The Hollywoods has a certain something to it. Hmm...
And what did you guys think about my graphic suggestions?
By the way, I am dead serious about this! Think of the effect when we show up "en masse" (all three of us) to a film festival or whatnot:
"I say, Sydney, look: it's some of those cinema thugs we've been hearing about!".
Awesome - congrats! If you never left SM, you'd hate it and be dying to get out. Better to see the world, and come back to appreciate it. Better still when it's on someone else's dime lol...
congrats. You know my resolution every year is the same: More fun, more money, more interesting work. Hope these gigs provide at least two out of the three for you!
hey man! it was quite the experience. too many people though. i ran into fauxhawk which was cool.
way too crowded. i did not have the patience to get more than one drink - and we did that as a group.
So what projects are you doing? I hope you keep updating your page while you are gone. I have decided to update my journal every tuesday. So get the latest before the next one's in.
okay - i still havent had time to develop/design an image.
we're in crunch delivery on a movie right now - its full-on sprint to the finish line in 5 weeks..ack.
how do we create the the hollywoods group?
i'd like to figure out how to go about it. i figure between the 3 of us we can get one started.
i think our focus of the group should be on the occasional film screening, or group 'go-to-a-theatre' and post-film discussion coupled with the 'bimonthly' lecture series where a member does a presentation on their expertise. i would gladly do the vfx one ;-)
