Im glad youre feeling better. Looks like things work out with your ex. Long distance relationships have never worked out for me. Im still friends with most of my ex-girlfriends. With some more than with others. Its tough to keep in touch once people move away or move on.
frontman:
i was just in a 4.5 year relationship and in the end it died because we were far away. i think we make better friends - but i am still in touch with old gf's from years upon years ago. i couldnt imagine daiting them so i guess you had something totally beyond that - something different.
i think its rare.

and yeah - we should totally start a gang. what do you want to call it?

LOL! Your Smashing Pumpkins storys very funny! I can actually picture the whole thing. That mustve been quite the night! As for me, Ive no idea who they thought I was. They were way too frenzied. It was just one never-ending: OH-MY-GOD! OH-MY-GOD! OH-MY-GOD!

Once they realized I was just little ol me, they said sorry, turned around, and walked away embarrassed and laughing. Everything happened so fast, I was in complete in shock I didnt get a chance to ask. But, as far as I know, I dont look like anybody famous.

Very surreal.
dolorian:
no kidding. that's awesome! Gorey is very under-appreciated, if you ask me. good luck with that!

I have one ex who is now a very close friend. I hang out with he and her husband regularly, as they live nearby in Bklyn. Funny too, I told her last week, I'd had a sex dream about her, the first one since we broke up like 5 years ago. And at the same time, she and I both went: "ewwwwwww". And it was creepy.

But my experience has taught me that if you break up with someone and then get back together, it's going to be the same as it was before. A friend of mine just asked for advice on this this weekend, and I told him the same: "Go for it, as long as what you want is what you had before."
poopoohead:
Thanks for the article. I've always like Morris' movies, the best being "Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control". I mean, WOW.

And Backstage...man I haven't looked at this paper since I was an actor ( cough! ) years ago.

And I haven't forgotten about showing you our site. It is going a little more slowly than we thought. But after this weekend, it will be in showable shape.
evanx:
How interesting, I had never noticed Jace outside of The Shield. But he's a really good actor! OK...let's see if I can figure out which movie it is...searching...searching...damn....IMDb does not list you two as ever working together........oh well, as you said before, it's not like they are the most reliable....

I was gonna post here the story of me and my ex...but she might be reading..... (unique3) wink

Later!
evanx:
Ah! I see! Thanks for the info. That guy was also a writer for Homicide:LOTS, my most favorite show of all time! So he's all good in my book! I'll keep an eye out for it. But as a writer/director/(sound guy), it must be frustrating to have a project unfinished for such a long time...

And yes, Fair Game was a god awful movie, best to steer clear of any title that sounds even remotely close to that steaming turd!
