talamia:
Hey Chris, may I ask a random image upload question? When images are attached when posting blogs, where are they stored as they no longer show up in our attachmemt folders? And the old site used to have an IMG button that allowed us to put in the image URL to slot in an image, how can I do that now?
exkyu:
How are you finding trello? I had a good look at it but ended up using asana to project manage.

Never read The Secret of Having Everything You Want. Self-help type books don't hold my interest for very long. I can't take credit for the quote itself though. A gf found it on pinterest.
adelina:
Oops, the italics thing doesn't work anymore.
chrisjlazer:
@talamia Technically, each blog post is an individual album and all pictures for that blog post are attached to this album -- which is why if you click one picture on the blog post it allows you to scroll through all the pictures attached to that blog post.  I haven't tried it yet, but I think if you just use HTML you can attach images to posts.

@exkyu we really like Trello -- our SG board is HUGE.
chrisjlazer:
@adelina I think you can just use HTML for italics now
adelina:
Like this?
chrisjlazer:
true @adelina
talamia:
Thanks! <3

:(
talamia:
oh no it didn't show :(
chrisjlazer:
@talamia I think you did the code right, but the image is behind a firewall.
talamia:
Oh I had never encountered that before, I've always been able to hotlink images from outside of the site, weird :(
andrewfoundry:
@talamia @chrisjlazer the first image was broken because it had a trailing quotation mark on the URL (which is probably actually a symptom of lacking the leading quotation mark).  The second I'm not sure about but I bet it was broken because the name was in all caps.  I wonder if the all caps problem isn't actually a javascript code issue?
talamia:
@andrewfoundry Yeah I realised the quotation error afterwards, but have since been successful with inserting images without using any quotation marks at all (it's been too long since I've used HTML so I've forgotten it all). The second attempt I copied and pasted an unsuccessful attempt which I deleted, as this site automcatically converts all links into (pink) capitals, so thus the capitalisation. Let's see if this gif works...
andrewfoundry:
@talamia Pusheen says it works!  The link conversion we have is a bit too aggressive and reducing its aggressiveness is an open work item.  Also, we should take pains to only capitalize visually and not actually capitalize the text.
