I peered into little worlds.


I saw hidden grins.


Smart cars are owned by smart alecs


I love Vancouver trees, warped from pruning & wrapped in moss.


Sandpipers ran laps, up & down the shore.


They'd take a pit stop now & again, digging for noms.


A crow wished to pose.


His friend was less eager to be photographed. There's a raft of loons further off.


The loons were joined by another flock. I couldn't tell if they were just females, or another species.
They fanned out and swam shorewards, diving for prey. A second flotilla mopped up the rear.


There's some amazing rusted rails. I always love the effects of the sea when it's confronted with the rest of nature, especially when it's manmade.


Enough freezing-cold fun, time to head back.


Just follow the treetunnels until you reach a place that feels like home.
