That last bit was very poetic and beautifully said. I do like pumpkin but it's not really that easy to get other than a few weeks before Halloween, it's not really caught on as a food here just something that gets carved up for Halloween! Take care 😘

Yes! Love creating foods and crafts with all kinds of Autumn pumpkins squashes and gourds. Have a friend who makes kitschy tree ornaments and ceiling mobiles from small yellow and zucchini squash. She nips off the cut end just wide enough to carefully clear out the guts and seeds with long foreceps leaving the empty skin, then stuffs them with shreds of newspaper to keep shape, sun dries them, and hand paints them as quirky fish or birds or people. Of course she eats the innards, never had a zucchini pie made like a traditional pumpkin pie until I met her, now I make them all year round! I save the seeds and toss them to waiting squirrels and blue jays in my gardens for a quick dose of winter gratitude. I'll tag you in a photo of one she made for me. Cheers 😎
