Yeah, I remember meeting you. I'm based out of Ft. Carson Colorado right now, but I did some time in Ft. Drum NY too. Carson is a niiiiice place, but high deployment rate. Ft. Drum is only nice in that it's a moderate drive from NYC and Boston.
Gonna do signal eh? Lemme give you a tip: No matter what the recruiter at the MEPS station says, 25U's do *NOT* do work with computers. Oh sure, we're trained to, but we never do. 25B's aren't a whole lot better either. They can get nice cushy desk jobs doing real IT work, but the majority get stuck down at BN level doing as much crap work as the next guy. If you wanna do something technical with electronics and communications, pick something in the 25 series of jobs, but 25B second to last, and 25U dead last. If you wanna shoot me off an e-mail, it's trevor.hildebrand@us.army.mil
My step-son is leaving ( very soon) for Army Basic Training, too . He will be in Missouri then going to Georgia for Airborne training. Where are you headed?
hey it's nicolle... can you believe it's already been a year since we were hanging out? shit's fucked up. i can't believe you guys got re-married. you know i saw it coming, i called it way long ago. i'm happy for olivia, most of all, because she rocks and deserves to have happy parents! why are you moving to CT? email me! queenofcups20@hotmail.com in case you forgot
You'd have to talk to Tom about that... if she isn't already on SG and in the group then probably not. It looks as if things are going to fill up pretty quick, and I know they cut off group membership for this trip already.
25F is a *really* good choice. Node nerd. We've got a couple out here, but they don't do a goddamn thing but play Xbox and surf the internet. Going to Jackson is good news too... Easiest basic there is. Sounds like you got a pretty sweet deal man.
