I don't think I can get my head around Time. Take The Matrix for example. That was almost 10 years ago! But it feels like nothing. And it was probably one of the first things that had a direct impact on who I am today since it was that movie that got me interested in rock music which led to industrial which led to techno etc. But if The Matrix came out this year then 10 years ago would of been 88/89. Which is a long time ago. I don't know if that makes sense but it's something I think about too much.
I still think that the nineties was just a few years ago, I'm shocked when people who aren't even too much younger than I am have never heard of music that was an every day part of my life. xxx x
yes time does pass. I dont know if i totally understand you... but you've done alot in your life, and alot of different chapters. you've also lived alot for someone your age, but also hang out with older and younger folk so i guess its easy to forget your any older than the girls you shoot for sg.

Knowing fuck all about computer games I can't really contribute anything useful to this discussion, but yes, the 90s finished a lot longer ago than it seems.

Fallout 3 has been banned in Australia for the moment because of the depictions of drug use. There's no R18+ rating over her so anything that looks like its going towards that territory either gets banned or released in a censored version (like GTAIV, though that wasn't too different from the US/European version).
It makes me very sad.
I'm the same with dates like that... I think of something even like 2003 or 2004 and its so long ago and so much has happened in the meantime. Its slipping away.
I never played Fallout but a friend I work with was a programmer on Fallout Tactics. Apparently the Fallout games had great writing - I really wish I'd checked them out after hearing that.
