Awww! Cherry you make me blush! I adore you.. I'm working up the guts to shoot! I would LOVE to have you shoot me.. I might just have to make a trip out to visit YOU once I work up the nerve.. and work off a few extra poundage.. bahaha!
I have come to the conclusion that this kind of unplanned, spontaneous, just because kind of update often leads to greatness. And I thank you for the pretty pictures.
Aw, that sounds like an amazing experience, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. When I saw the picture of the dog I thought your hat had scared him too, it reminded me of the story about the sleigh dog! xxxxx.
Impressive, beautiful shots Cherry, thanks for sharing with us. I can't imagine having a bear hang out by the side of the road where I live, I'd have to go north about an hour into Maine for that. I'm envious of your experience.
I've driven from SF to Fairbanks twice and Fairbanks to SF once, during winter, summer, and fall. I'd do it two or three times a year if I could. Or all the time. I did each drive alone. I'm not really sure I'd like it if someone else was with me and I'm darn sure the other person wouldn't like being on a 3200-3600 mile road trip with me.
Each trip was kind of a spiritual experience for me, but especially the first time, when I drove up in January, mostly in ice and darkness. It was like being on another planet.
Beautiful, isn't it?
This is from the winter trip:
About those grizzlies eating dandelions by the roadside, that sounds familiar:
I just realised I have sent a couple of emails to your work mail address instead of the super secret one! Sorry, it's cos I replied to some SG related mails that came from there. xxx
Thank you, lady! You remember the star I had on my lower back, right? I was tired of just having that tiny thing, and it was so tough to try to plan around it. I pitched this idea to Ryan, he loved it, and decided to make it the massive monster that it will turn out to be. Large pieces definitely are a lot of fun, but they're incredibly difficult to plan out. eek.
holgas came in yesterday Justin (he giggled because you call him Jason ) absolutely loves his. Its amazing! And he does have a flickr, I think he added you as a contact a while back. I can still send you a link if you'd like, though.
Mine makes me so happy. yay zebra! Thank you muffin. xox
ooh also, any chance the multi could be prepped to submit for the month of august? I just thought it might be a good time seeing as Debbie's set went up today so people will be more aware of her lovely presence! xx
wow, that sounds like such an amazing time. I love nature, living in Colorado my whole life I don't think I could survive without the mountains. And I'm totally jealous about the owl...owls are so mysterious and beautiful! You know what's sad...it's harder and harder these days to see and be surrounded by land that's never been developed...a tragedy really.
^^his flickr. when my laptop is up and running again, we'll both be able to update.
I have to start sending my film out to be developed. The places out here are fucking ridiculous. I'm about to pay $50 for one roll of velvia. I'm pissed.
