This is an ongoing debate between our friends. Do you not find that the bands that have been around for years and that were maybe the first bands you fell in love with, you only ever like their 'old' stuff and not their 'new' stuff?

Is that because they have become shit or because we simply fell in love with those specific tracks and thats all we now listen to?

Music snobs, yes, ashamed, no !

What do you guys think?

I think it depends on the band. There are some artists you grow with and love the new material just as much as the old. And then some bands that used to rock out hard get a little mellower and poppier sounding as they age or "sell out" and you wish they were the way they used to be.

I also think some people think it's cool simply to say "I like their older stuff"
