I love the pictures but the colors look odd and somewhat washed out. Do we have a monitor calibration issue? I have an LG LCD which is emphatically not suited for photography, having a grand 262,000 colors and limited gray scale or whatever it's properly called. It's barely tolerable, and better ones are very expensive and therefore uncommon. I assume you are in a similar boat and I don't have a solution off the top of my head.
It's kind exciting to be able to tell someone about these cameras because they're so very appealing. They look big compared to an slr, but in fact they fit in the palm of your hand and are designed exceptionally well to be convenient, comfortable and fast to use. One of the saddest things about digital photography for me was the possibility of Hasselblad fading away, but it seems that the company had other ideas and has maintained its position at the high end. Having one of these was always a nice fantasy, and it also feels good to be able to like a company once in a while.
