The prints of these photographs are 13x19 and they are much much more effective as large pieces, I think. You can see the texture in the paint, and there is a feeling of place, of being there, or of having been there, or maybe it's just me. Plus too, the rug really ties them together.
solaris:
your summertime plan sounds amazing. lucky and brave fellow. you guys must be a neat couple.

i used to be more into online journals, big time. then my best friend got all judgemental of me, and i become an incredibly minor person of interest on the internet, and i stopped wanting to share all my trials, tribulations, and triumphs because.... i don't know why. i guess i just grew up, but i miss actually being able to express thoughts and emotions in the medium of text. it was the only way i was ever able to... and now i just can't. oh well. plenty of empty, impersonal, and meaningless posts to come!
smuffy:
dirty boston indeed!

providence = better.
smuffy:
welcome back you non-blogging fucker.

wintertime is ideal for blogging. summertime is when I'm truly out there enjoying the world.
smuffy:
I have missed you, but you sound well, so I'm happy.

p.s. tokidoki is japanese for...(I forgot already). oops!
mallory:
i just love old buildings..
especially dilapidated ones..
when you two travel you should make it up to the northwest..
you could stay with my boyfriend and i!!
emilygee:
You are far better at blogging than I. Your summer travel plans sound ideal. Have you mapped out a path for yourself, or are the two of you going to go where the spirit moves you?

Charming old home. Great pics.
smuffy:
it is a coffee cup!

but not a full sized coffee cup!

it's a little one and it's actually a christmas ornament! biggrin
smuffy:
my phone cam is really awesome.
emilygee:
Well, I envy your freedom over the next year. It sounds wonderful. Will you be choosing to stay in the warmer areas of the country, or are you planning a four seasons tour? If you ever pass through Chicago, let me know. Drinks would be swell.
mallory:
what version of winter wonderland was it?
the level of severity depends on who performed it..
surprisingly enough i did actually find a bunch of christmas songs that i could stand..
and i compiled them into two cds.. something i would never do.. but after being forced to listen to the same renditions over and over again.. i needed to do something.. for the sake of my sanity if nothing more..

also.. we would love to have you two visit..
we don't have many friends and it would be fun
