Hey guys!
Soo. Not much to blog about really but I figured I was overdue a new one. I miss interacting on this site as much as I used to!
I've mostly just been keeping my head down and getting work done - my boss at the tattoo shop had me practicing script for months to make sure I got my lines right. It was completely monopolizing my free time, to the point where I didn't even have small pockets of time to do say, a doodle here and there for myself. (Anyone who has me on instagram - @jessibels_art - this was one of the reasons I was very very quiet in the months leading up to christmas).
Aaaanyways, after sheets and sheets of script, I finally got his approval to move onto something new. Yay!
So that frees up my schedule up a bit; I'm also getting crappy hours at my cinema job because it's dead season, so while I'm broke as fuck, I at least have lots more free time than I have in a while. And I'm using that time to finally get lots of personal artwork done. This makes me a very very happy kid.
(I really wanted to draw sphinx cats. I probably will again soon.)

I'm really feeling inspired at the moment, really wanna push things to the next level artwise. :D Can't wait. Every little bit of spare time is precious to me right now.
I've been having some personal problems too - nothing I can really go into detail with, just, I don't know. Some things are really confusing at the moment and I'm not quite sure which path to choose. (Vague, I know...) But things are easier with awesome friends (and the odd glass of wine... Or bottle... and 4 jagerbombs... at 4 in the afternoon...)
I'm endlessly grateful for the supportive people around me - I really don't deserve such wonderful people to be looking after me.
And on a slightly more petty ending note, this will be the last picture taken of me with blondey bits in my hair:
I'm going to get them all cut off tomorrow. It's been a lovely run and I resent having to lose some of the length - but no amount of lotions and potions will bring that section of hair back to life. And I really really miss healthy, shiny hair :)
