I hope you're not too sorry because I love what you wrote. Those are all excellent ideas to implement for a happy and meaningful life. Believe it or not, doubting our own worth is a primitive survival instinct but we don't have to be slaves to it. We must accept that we will make mistakes every day and the impossibility of predicting the future means that some of our choices will lead to disappointing results. The great thing about today's world is that our mistakes and disappointments will not cause us to starve, freeze or be eaten by predators, so we can simply relax and learn from almost anything that may go wrong. I certainly have faith in you based on everything I've seen and by all means step back from people who want to feel good by making you feel diminished. That is also primitive behaviour and you can do without them. Happy new year! :)

@jozsef - Thankyou for the thoughtful words, they confirm the thoughts I had when I was writing this blog... It's right, we shouldn't make mistakes get in the way of happiness, failure is a huge building block in learning and growing as a person, you get much more life experience out of failure than you do success but society has taught us that mistakes are wrong and shameful, and it can be hard to turn away from that way of thinking sometimes.
