i have officially started my x-mas shopping. my efficiency this year astounds me i have a list, and a budget, and i actually know what i want to get everyone. and then i go out and find a pink winter coat and blow my budget (it was a really really good sale, ok?!)
i'm finding a lot of chain stores i used to shop at just... bite now. i hate malls in general, but every once in awhile you find yourself in one, and the quality of merchandise they expect you to shell out good money for is heartbreaking. my favourite recent example is The Body Shop, which smells so blatently chemical you know any mention of natural is a joke.
my free will astrology says "if you're fully alive, the answer to the question, 'what is the meaning of life?' keeps evolving." Then it goes on to give advice from philosopher Tom Morris. "The meaning of life," he says, "is creative love. Not love as an inner feeling, not as a private sentimental emotion, but love as a dynamic power moving out into the world and doing something original."
so, in honour of my free will astology,
and for everyone!

And I wish I was as ready for Christmas as you are!
I was just reading through an old(er) thread about Toronto, and I noticed that my 2 friends YumYum and abadinfluence live there. Although I think I was dropped from his list for lack of participation.
My husband and I would like to move to T.O., but we can't 'til his son (my stepson) is older. So maybe in around 6 years, we'll be looking into it.
