Illustration grad here! How about death by sports injury? Sort of clattering that should have killed him outright, but he survives that, only to have his newfound limp trip him up and kill him while doing something utterly mundane like brushing his teeth or doing the dishes. Otherwise death by dead cobra seems pretty interesting :)

I would definitely go with the over consumption of carrots or the dead cobra. They seem like they would produce the most interesting story.

I think a combo of 5+1 would be tragic, with a side of hilarity if presented right!

Carrots. My friend Mary was obsessed with the idea of eating enough carrots to turn her skin orange. This was after she taped a slice of carrot to her leg to try and dye her skin orange. Yeah. She's a fun kid.
