i finally got in touch with my friend wyatt... this is very good news. he was my glassblowing partner in college and i needed to see if he would want to move to hawaii with me and open a shop up and start blowing glass again. he didn't seem to be too hesitant about it and he is now checking into how much it'll cost us to set one up and keep it running over there. i'm not too worried about the money part... i'm more worried about the fact that it's been about 3 or 4 years since i've done any glassblowing and how long it'll take me to get back up and into the groove. that and the fact that hawaii is a rather warm climate and blowing glass in warm weather can be, well rather hot and uncomfortable, but it'll be worth it. i mean come on i'll be in paradise doing the one thing i truly love to do... and i'll have the best partner out there.
