I'll finish the book and then I can compare both.people say the book is better, because the maincharacter is not completely shown as a "hero", not completely positive.
I think mccandless is described a little more fucked up in the book,which I really like.
But I love the movie,too.it's cool that they thought about a good soundtrack.all songs were written only for the movie and the lyrics fit perfectly.
and its nice that they have chosen a musican who can, because of his personal story, identify so perfectly with the movie.
An interesting film, but in the end not such a great choice. Still, there's parts of me that can understand where a person like that lives inside their head. And Vedder is grand.
