There are some big MtG tournaments coming up is a format that I like. Not sure if I'll get to play. These are called Pro Tour Qualifiers or PTQ's. Yes, Magic has a pro tour league. The winner is award a plane ticket to play with the big boys for cash. This PTQ is for a pro event in San Juan, Peurto Rico. Past events have been in Berlin, Hawaii, Japan
I am organizing a tournament locally in Feb. Should be a good time. From the response so far, attendance should be good. Top prize is for a $200 card

My football team, the New England Patriots lost on Sunday in their playoff game so they are now done for the year. They had a good season.

Hoping to have a good weekend without kids. Don't get me wrong, doing stuff with the kids is great, just want to do some adult stuff if you know what I mean.

We didn't really do anything exciting for the bday - we just spent a bunch of $ on the dog and stuff ... you know how it goes. We went out for dinner, got him a book he wanted and today he picked out some boots that he wanted as his gift.
