I can't speak for anyone else, but as far as I'm concerned there is no statute of limitations on friendship. If you get in touch next week or ten years from now, I will be thrilled to hear anything you have to say, or to read what you wish to write; you get the idea. I care very much what happens to you and continue to hope you're well. Since you said you would always stay in touch, I'm never without something to look forward to.
