Got my Economic Stimulus check today and I feel downright exhilarated. Why do they call it that anyway? Is it because I am going to stimulate the economy by having enough money to shop?

If anyone has reccomendations for cameras within the $100 dollar range, please let me know. I am a photo novice and I am determined to make a wise choice in this department so if you have camera knowledge, please lay it on me.
