Everyone needs a hand to hold on to
The ultimate Hoosier himself, John Mellencamp, singing to me this morning. My mom, sister, niece and nephew all arrive tomorrow and will be happy chaos in my house for a week. Hopefully it will help break the ever-growing tension that is present to the point that one day the roof will blow off my house and the walls will come crashing down. I need the love of my family right now. They will be a wonderful distraction and source of support. I get to look forward to a trip to the zoo, lots 'o time at the pool, exploring parks, and of course, antique shopping. Perhaps I can pick up a few more antique tools to add to my collection.

I went to a baby shower last night with the Stepford wives in my neighborhood. The coordinating outfit that takes the prize for ultimate suburban hell would have to be the lime green and pink watermelon capri pants, matching lime green sweater set and lime green shoes!! As any gracious neighbor would, I complimented her on the ensemble and she excitedly told me she bought it while shopping in Chicago a few weeks ago. Hmmmm not what I would bring home from a weekend in Chicago...but to each his own I expect.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend my friends
kiss

Holy Mother of a (green) god - did you by any chance get a picture of this ensemble you could post?

I'm feeling sheepish. I've had a really, really bad week. Yup, that's right, it got worse. I posted an entry on tuesday that was so annoyingly childish and whining that I had to hide again for a bit out of shame.

I got dumped frown

I didn't like that, not in the slightest. After that, my week went into a bit of a decline.

Cracking pictures of you at flogging molly though, I'm off to see them two weeks this very day, would have been cool to have somehow got over to arkansas and have caught them with you guys, it looked like you all had an amazing time!

And I'm not even going to go into how good you look smiling with wet mosh pit hair..... love

I hope you have the best time with your family.
