I'm not sure how to tell, but I have had mine bruised on numerous occasions, so that feels quite awful, perhaps they are just banged up really good.

Falling up stairs is an impressive art form by the way, I tend to demonstrate that every day coming home, I trip coming up our stairs all the time.
