I guess the best thing and the worst about holidays in my household is not having to decorate, get stressed or get prepared for them. Nope, there will be no Christmas lights shining bright fo Santa. But it's good for my health to see other people in celebration. You can't help feeling kinda peaceful around this time of year. The world pushes on for the sake of kids and senile elderlies. They simply the sweetest things.

So, Dorothy Parker, I was wondering what the correct answer was. Now I know. My guess wasn't even close.

I don't celebrate. Nobody celebrates for me... I will participate somewhat, meaning if someone gives me a gift I'll accept but don't expect an xmas present in return cause I can give someone a gift anytime a year. I know that sounds kinda shitty...

The poem: I always thought it was lyrics to a song, sung by a man, who's name I still can't recall, in the early 60s. Yes, I know I was way off!

I don't mind the celebrations, I enjoy going to the parades
and stuff like that. It's just being raised as a christian and in America with my understanding of each holiday's definition I choose to not celebrate. I say all that because I know that different nationalities and religions may celebrate those holidays for different reasons. Uh, I'm not a christian, some would say I'm agnostic, I'm not patriotic so, to me, it seems kinda pointless to actually celebrate. Again, I don't anything against the holidays.

Sorry if I sound like I'm talking in circles. I don't wanna sound like I'm 'anti-holidays' or something... That's why I always say HappyWhatever....

miao!!
