Indeed - that is the question. My mom says she has been married to three men, and I imagine my dad feels the same. They have both gone through big shifts! But, four kids and a lifetime of experiences bond some people. I think they are more lucky than not. I can think of one person that I've known with whom I would even want that kind of history, and he is out of the running. So, yeah. I guess we will never know.
