al of this is why I find it so fascinating that oyu could get away with being involved on this ssite? when do you get to post and IM and stuff? It just seems like it would be SO hard to fit this into your world, yet you do it pretty damn well, so I am impressed. I was involved in boy scouts for a logn time when I was sa kid, which is like the military for kids, so I have some idea of the atmosphere ytou must be in all the time. I do not even come close to trying to presuem I knwo what you go through (you met me, man, I'm NOT a military type guy), but your comments about the military life bring back very vivid memories of al lthe thigns that made me nuts abotu the "leisure activities" of the boy scouts. scary. Anyway, you blended in pretty decently when I wet you last time, you seemed pretty relaxed. I wouldn't worry about it, man.
-at ease,
Dave
addendum: that sentiment extends to all of the really awesome people I know that have been or are currently in the military. Thank you for not living up to the stereotype, as hard and lonely as that path may be. I hold you in higher regards than I do most people simply out of respect and admiration.
I understand what your saying. I want you to feel comfortable when you hang out with us. Your a cool guy and great company. I have to understand your situation as well you have understand us. It will be okay. They more you hang out the better it will get.
Saturday we are going to strap you down. Alice will poop on your shoes and Eric Allen is going to give you some phat facial piercings...that way you will fit right in with SG and get booted from the service and not have to go to war... we no want you to go to war...
