I forgot I actually some sort of news to post. I just got back from a short trip to Las Vegas....I loathe that city. I could go on about it, but I'll just say that it's not type of place. I was in a hurry to leave after the first day. I didn't even gamble much, but I did see the Hoover Dam. The dam part doesn't sound very interesting, but it's impressive to see. I managed to finally finish the new Super Mario Bros. on the plane ride back. It was a great fucking game. The last game I actually played and enjoyed the entire way through was Advance Wars DS. Kudos to you Nintendo. Now I have to work backwards and finish that damn Metroid game.
I had yesterday off from work, so I spent the day unpacking my junk into the new apartment and watching the first season of Arrested Development (again). Today, I woke up, unpacked some more stuff (I'm very slow with this process), ate some food, and watched more Arrested Development. Around 2:00 I went down to The Globe Pub to catch the Ivory Coast vs. Argentina game. The place was packed with a couple hundred people. Half the bar was for ARG, half for IVC (there was a group of IVC guys there going crazy). IVC got robbed on a goal made by ARG where the scoring player was way way offsides. Bullshit, but the games go on I suppose. I kinda want to see IVC get into the quarters, they played well, and it is their first year in.
After the game I came back and started on the second season of Arrested Development and had a nap. Now I'm plotting on things to do for this evening. We shall see. How's everyone else these days?

this is probably going to sound weird to you, but i have never seen arrested development.

the man got a higher paying consulting job, and we used the extra money to save save save for almost a year, so when his contract ended we could only work on starting our web design business. so money is tight right now while we start out, and find new jobs. and right now i'm working on and researching the personal chef business. i do jobs here and there for friends, and friend of friends.. but i'd like to be a full business over the next few years. the volunteering is about 4 hours a week and is very rewarding.
