Ok so here is the mega update.
I am Cap (howdy) and I used to be a member here. I have a grand total of 1 friend still in SG. All the others have quit. Hi Kay!!! Your eyes are just as entrancing as ever I see. Where was I? O yeah!! So basically I'm stuck starting fresh. Where Have I been? London....ish. Trying my hand at being the hot guy with the accent. The hot part never got its Visa approved. Had fun there yadda yadda. Met a girl, dumped a girl, missed home, sister getting married. Now I'm back, and looking to settle in.
Wanna know what's sad? Exponentially sad with each retelling? This is my home town! And I have zero friends in it. Frak. And I look to straight edge to work with people I get along with, and am far to awesome to chill with Chad and Buffy from the office, to some Jimmy Buffet tribute band.
I missed RI a lot. Dunkin Donuts for christ's sake!!. But it's fairly lonely. And I'm starting to feel a tad pathetic.
See, despite my cartoony personality. My stoic charm, and ready smile, I AM THE SHYEST GUY ON THE PLANET!!! Not just to chicks but anyone. I dont say hi, dont introduce myself, dont impose myself on people. So I go to the bars and keep stools from floating into the bassists. They tip me.
So I figured I'd socialize on SG and meet some new people. Make some connections. Maybe I'll get some info on a great event to attend. Or maybe some social butterfly will invite me somewhere to hang out and meet people.
Adopt me, I'm toilet trained, never am a liability drunk, and rarely ever start fights. And I know some great stories....some of them are true.
