Well I'm halfway through this work week and exhausted. They expect way too damn much for this little, pathetic, amount of pay. I need to get back into a tech job of some sort...
On a different note: has anyone found a way to "pass through" an optical drive (CD, DVD, or BD) to a Linux Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) so that it can be used by the guest? More specifically I am looking to use certain tools, namely AnyDVD and CloneDVD, in the guest. I've read of people using USB DVD drives, but honestly they are so slow that I'm not interested in that method. This is pretty much the only feature left keeping one of my machines tied to VirtualBox while the rest have been converted to KVM.
Oh and the swelling in my neck is back, but not nearly as bad. Went to the doctor yesterday and they can't give me any more antibiotics. They think there is another stone in my saliva gland OR the original one is still there. So I have to pass the stone the hard way by exciting the production of saliva by sucking on hard candy. Kind of a pain at work, especially since we are not supposed to have candy or gum, but at this point I don't give a shit and they can kiss my ass (plus I have a doctor note if they actually say something).
Anyway everybody send good vibes my way so that I can find a good job doing something that will make the geeky/nerdy side of me happy!
